George Xydas
Mr. Xydas has more than 17 years’ experience in the financial services sector, mainly in investment banking, corporate finance and asset management. As a member of the executive team of HOI, Mr. Xydas deals primarily with the large finance transactions. He is also advisor to selective large international firms for expansion strategies and corporate finance ventures.
His most recent post was that of director of FxPro Group one of the top 5 global FX brokers, spearheading the global expansion of the group’s operations, taking the company from €24 million revenue in 2008 to €64 million in 2011 a growth rate of 38% and from €6.5 million EBITDA to €28.4 million. He was responsible for the establishment of the group’s UK and Australia operations as well as the establishment of European rep offices and new service lines. George also led the corporate finance transactions of the company dealing with the listing of the company on the LSE and M&A transactions.
Prior to joining FxPro, George was managing partner at XS Capital, a boutique investment firm that ran client specific investment strategies in Eastern Europe and also originating a number of M&A transactions, concentrating especially in the real estate and debt collection industry.
George is a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst, holds an MSc in Finance from Golden Gate University in San Francisco California and a BA in Accounting and Finance from Southbank University in London, UK.
